Your choice is crucial

Here are brief presentations of the materials we offer as standard. Click here to download as PDF.

Veneer

Veneer is a thin slice of wood called a veneer blade, and how the wood is cut from the log determines the appearance of the veneer. The veneer blades we use are knife-cut, which means that you can see the lines from the wood's growth rings. We exclusively use thick veneer for our tables, which means that the veneer has a thickness of 1.5 mm. This means that the surface of the tabletop can be sanded several times, allowing for refurbishment of the tables.

All the wood we use comes from responsible forestry.

Ash

An excellent material for furniture manufacturing. Ash is a tough and hard type of wood that has high abrasion resistance, while also being easy to split and work with. In addition, ash is also well-suited for surface treatment. The appearance of the sapwood varies between light yellow and light gray. In younger trees, the heartwood often has the same color as the sapwood, but over time it darkens and can become very dark on old trees. It is sometimes called "olive ash". Since ash yellows over time, we add 0.5% whitening agent to the lacquer, which we call Lacquer, Natural 10. All the wood we use comes from responsible forestry.

Oak

Oak is a strong and hard material that also has good wear resistance, making it a suitable material for furniture manufacturing. The sapwood is light yellow-gray and makes up a small part of the wood, while the heartwood is initially grayish-yellow but gradually turns brown and can vary from light to dark brown. All the wood we use comes from responsible forestry.

High Pressure Laminate

HP laminate, also known as HT laminate, is a panel material consisting of several layers of paper that are pressed together under high pressure. On the panel, a surface is applied where you can be creative with color and pattern. High pressure laminate gives a stylish impression, is impact resistant, and is resistant to water and chemicals. This makes laminate the material in our standard range that is best suited for tough environments where regular cleaning with disinfectants is required. HP laminate is also resistant to color fading and is stain-resistant with a long service life.

Super Matte High Pressure Laminate

The new innovative super matte laminate, also known as Fenix laminate or Nanolaminate, has a super matte, almost silky smooth finish due to its manufacturing technique. The surface is dirt-repellent and does not reflect light. The extra smooth surface is also more scratch-resistant than its predecessors.

Kayar

The floor that ended up on the table, Artigo kayar is a rubber floor for public environments containing coconut fiber. These surfaces have a solid-colored base with visible coconut fibers. This material is as durable as expected for a floor in a public environment and also has sound-absorbing properties. A lovely material with an interesting twist.

Linoleum

Furniture linoleum, also known as desktop, is a natural material that provides a warm and tactile feel with several positive characteristics. Linoleum is sound-absorbing, antistatic, antibacterial, and self-healing over time for minor scratches. To maintain all these positive characteristics, we do not lacquer the linoleum we put on the tables, as it would cause several of the positive characteristics to be lost.

Linoleum is a CO2-neutral product, which means that the raw material absorbs more carbon dioxide than the manufacturing emits, thus binding carbon dioxide during its lifetime.
