Olle Lundberg, grandfather to today's owner, was the carpenter who wanted a little more after the war in 1945 and bought a furniture factory together with his partner, Lundbergs Möbler. Then, as now, the focus was on building good wooden tables and chairs. Over 75 years of experience in furniture manufacturing and the use of tables and chairs are now in our DNA. The feeling and our commitment to details as furniture carpenters emerged primarily during the 70s and 80s when Lundbergs Möbler became the leading manufacturer of Gustavian Furniture in Scandinavia. A production characterized by carvings, meticulous material selection, and hand painting. Today, our ambition is to be the leading supplier of wooden tables for the Nordic market with our own furniture production and development in Tibro. Still with great precision in the details and material choices, but now also with a great commitment to making our furniture more circular and working towards the goal of reaching 1.5 degrees. We want to be the leading supplier of wooden tables while helping market actors make conscious choices and create circular table flows. In this way, we want to contribute to reducing greenhouse effects.

A table is not just a table. Some tables are designed to lower the noise level, some must withstand heavy wear and tear, and some tables are designed to create spontaneous and relaxed meetings. Unlike many other furniture pieces, the table not only offers comfort or beautiful design. Based on this insight, we create a range that works and adapts to the environment in which they operate. That is why our tables come in over 3000 variants and are designed for reuse.
Wilma tables and chairs
A furniture classic!
Our Wilma furniture series was created by Olof Bratt and Katrin Kahl back in 1998 and is now considered a furniture classic. Inspired by the Stockholm archipelago, where they spent their summers, Wilma was designed with a feeling of sun, summer, and salty baths. Additionally, it was created with the best materials and woodworking joy in the details. Wilma tables and chairs are still manufactured in our factory here in Tibro and sold through Mio in Sweden. Into the future
We live with and off our nature. That also means that we have to take care of it.
Without good and strong raw materials, we won't get anywhere. We manufacture tables and chairs from wood. Wood is a fantastic material. It contributes to a more even indoor climate as it absorbs and releases moisture. The fact that wood appeals to human senses through its structure and appearance and has a stress-reducing effect are just a few of wood's positive qualities. We source our wood from Central Europe and always with the requirement that the timber is FSC certified. As a logical consequence of our love and need for wood, we have also engaged as a supporting company to the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation. There, we have chosen the forest as our support area. The trees and the forest need a strong partner who uncompromisingly stands up for them. Our main environmental argument is that we make furniture that is the opposite of disposable furniture. Furniture that we can extend the lifespan of through good maintenance advice, a functioning spare parts supply, and high-quality reuse of the furniture. Perhaps reuse will become the norm and new purchases the exception in the future? We will prepare to be a leading player even then!
Our future
WITH HEART IN TIBRO & THE FOREST
I grew up in Fagersanna. A beautiful little village by Lake Örlen that provided me and my family with a good upbringing. The heart of the village is the small big sports club Fagersanna IF. A wonderful sports facility created by voluntary forces where football and other sports are practiced with a focus on children and young people. An activity that has been recognized at national level as well as at local level, where men's and women's sports now coexist on equal terms. This is where I was raised, and I am happy that we can contribute.
Our livelihood comes from the forest. Trees that become tables and chairs in our production and then are used at various gatherings around the world. Making sure we have sustainable and long-term forest management is crucial for our own future. And when we say our own future, we don't just mean our business operations. Our support for the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation and its research and work to create public opinion on forest management issues therefore feels completely logical to us. Our forests and fauna need the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, which always and uncompromisingly stands up for the trees.
We are proud and happy to contribute to providing children with a safe upbringing and a brighter future. In Sweden and around the world, Save the Children ensures that children have access to healthcare, clean water, food, education, and protection from violence and abuse.
